About Sabine Lisicki
Sabine Katharina Lisicki (German pronunciation: [zaˈbiːnə lɪˈzɪki]; born 22 September 1989) is a German tennis player. She turned professional in 2006. Her breakthrough was in 2009 when she reached the quarterfinals of the Wimbledon Championships, and also won her first WTA title, the Family Circle Cup.
Lisicki was previously in a relationship with German comedian Oliver Pocher, whom she dated for almost three years. The couple split in 2016.
On 8 March 2024, Lisicki announced on Instagram that she and her fiancé were expecting a baby. On 8 September 2024, she announced that she had given birth to a daughter.

I remember her getting to the final of Wimbledon in 2013 beating Serena Williams in the 4th round on route. Her serve was one of the quickest ever. I remember her playing a match against Belinda Bencic in Birmingham where she served no less than 27 aces. She was absolutely lethal on a grass court. I thought she might win Wimbledon, but she didn't and now probably won't, which is a shame.
